Theo Lück

Theo Lück (born December 26, 1921 in Cologne ; † May 23, 2012 in Linz am Rhein ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Local politics

Lück was a member of the Linz am Rhein city ​​council from 1948 to 1994 . From 1969 to 1972 he was first alderman , from 1972 to 1974 and from 1979 to 1989 honorary mayor of Linz am Rhein. In 1984 he left the SPD and joined a newly formed Free Voting Group in Linz . From 1970 to 1994 he was also a member of the Linz am Rhein municipal council and from 1994 to 1999 he was an alderman of the Linz am Rhein municipal association .

He was first elected a member of the Neuwied District Assembly in 1952, to which he - with a brief interruption - belonged for 47 years.

Parliament

Lück was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament from 1967 to 1983 . Here he was a member of the Interior Committee, the Agriculture, Viticulture and Environment Committee, the Petitions Committee and various other bodies.
