Career
Watford FC and Huddersfield Town
Theo Robinson made his debut on April 22, 2006 for Watford FC in a 2-1 away win over Queens Park Rangers . After a first change on loan to the lower class Wealdstone FC , he was loaned to the fourth division club Hereford United for the 2007/08 season . Robinson (43 league games / 13 goals) rose at the end of the season with Hereford as third in the third division. After three league games for Watford in the Football League Championship 2008/09 , he moved on January 23, 2009 on loan to third division club Southend United and scored seven league goals by the end of the season.
On July 3, 2009, the third division Huddersfield Town committed him on a firm contract basis. For his new team he scored thirteen goals in Football League One in 2009/10 and was the second top scorer of his team after strike partner Jordan Rhodes (19 goals). Huddersfield moved into the play-offs as sixth in the table, but failed prematurely at Millwall FC (0-0 and 0-2).
Millwall FC and Derby County
After he had already moved to Millwall FC on loan in the first half of the 2010/11 season , the club from London signed him on January 14, 2011 on a permanent contract basis. Only a month later, however, the club loaned him to league rivals Derby County until the end of the season . Robinson scored two goals for Derby in thirteen games in the 2010/11 Football League Championship and was signed by Derby at the start of the new season and given a two-year contract.
The Football League Championship 2011/12 Robinson ended (39 league games / 10 goals) with County in twelfth place in the table. In the first half of the 2012/13 season , he has scored eight goals so far.
