Theobald Max Baron Heinrich Vrints of good field (* 24. October 1734 in Bremen , † 1812 ) was an imperial postmaster and resident in Bremen and imperial Reichshofrat .

biography

A branch of the Vrints family came from Spain and came to the Spanish Netherlands in the 16th century . Theobald Max Heinrich Vrints von Treuenfeld was the great-grandson of Johann Gerhard Vrints von Treuenfeld (1611–1685), the first postmaster of the Imperial Postal Service in Bremen. His father was the postmaster Konrad Alexander Vrints von Treuenfeld (1707-1780). Theobald Max Heinrich graduated from the old grammar school in Bremen and studied law at the University of Göttingen . After the death of his father he became like this postmaster and called himself imperial Reichspostdirektor . He was then also the imperial resident ( envoy ) in Bremen. In 1797 he was appointed imperial councilor. In 1799 his son Carl Vrints von Treuenfeld (1765-1852) took over the management of the imperial imperial post office in Bremen. Theobald Max Heinrich, however, remained in the service of the Thurn und Taxis House, which was associated with the Reichspost as postmaster general .
