Kasane is a city in Botswana with 9250 inhabitants (as of 2019). It is located in the Chobe District in the four-country corner of Botswana, Namibia , Zambia and Zimbabwe on the Chobe , which also forms the northeast border of the Chobe National Park , and near the mouth of the Chobe into the Zambezi .

Due to the favorable transport infrastructure, Kasane is a focal point for tourists. The Kasane Airport is on scheduled flights from Maun , Gaborone and Johannesburg to reach. Charter flights connect the lodges in other parts of the country with Kasane. There are road connections to the Okavango Delta , towards Francistown and in the Namibian Caprivi Strip to Katima Mulilo and to Victoria Falls , Zimbabwe. Zambia, about the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls, can be reached via a ferry across the Zambezi .
