Theodor Buckstegen

Theodor Buckstegen (born November 5, 1939 in Kleve ) is a German Roman Catholic priest , clergyman since 1986 and head of the pastoral care staff department in the Episcopal Vicariate in Münster .

Theodor Buckstegen was born in Kleve on the Lower Rhine in 1939 . After studying Catholic theology , which he completed with a licentiate , he was ordained a priest in 1965 . His career progressed through a chaplain position in Dülmen Heilig Kreuz (1965 to 1967), through positions as a spiritual director at the Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck in Goch (1967 to 1970) and at the Clemens Hofbauer College in Bad Driburg (1970 to 1978) as well as pastor and Dean in Münster (1978 or 1982 to 1986) up to a management position as clergyman and department head for pastoral care staff in the Episcopal Vicariate General Münster (1986 to 2009). In 1990 Buckstegen was appointed resident cathedral capitular at the cathedral in Münster.
