Theodor Ellinger
Theodor Ellinger (born June 14, 1920 in Stuttgart , † December 28, 2004 in Hoffnungsthal (Rösrath) ) was a German economist .
Life
From 1942 to 1950 he studied mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart (April 1948 diploma ) and from 1944 also economics (spring 1950 diploma in economics). After receiving his doctorate in 1950 at the University of Stuttgart as Dr.-Ing. , receiving his doctorate in 1953 from the University of Tübingen as Dr. rer. pole. and his habilitation in 1958 with Herbert Hax at the University of Frankfurt am Main , he taught from 1960 to 1967 as a professor of business administration at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and since 1967 as a full professor at the University of Cologne .
