Theodor Geyr

Theodor Geyr (born October 3, 1895 in Dillingen an der Donau , † December 14, 1953 in Munich ) was a German church painter .

Geyr received his training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Hermann Groeber . After graduating, he settled in Starnberg in 1920 .

Various frescoes come from Geyr , including a mural in the parish church of St. Maria in Starnberg, which was created in 1936 and 1937, and the altarpiece The Risen One with Peter and Paul in the Christ the King Church in Horrem from 1937.
