Theodor Ruhrländer (born July 9, 1896 in Essen-Überruhr ; † July 27, 1961 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Theodor Ruhrländer attended elementary school and grammar school where he passed the Abitur. He did military service in the First World War. Ruhrländer studied history, economic history and economics at the Universities of Münster and Bonn and received a doctorate in Dr. phil. Until 1934 he was managing director of the Westphalian farmers' association and until 1939 employed by the Reichsnährstand . In 1939 he was the owner of an agricultural accounting office. From September 1939 to December 1948 he worked as head of the food and economic office of the Coesfeld district . From February 1949 he worked as a tax officer at the Münster headquarters of the Westphalian-Lippian Agricultural Association .

Theodor Ruhrländer was a member of the CDU and from July 21, 1958 until his death on July 27, 1961, he was directly elected member of the 4th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 089 Coesfeld.
