Theodor Schnitzer

Theodor Schnitzer (* 1866 in Stuttgart ; † 1939 there ) was a German painter.

Schnitzer studied from 1884 to 1892 at the Stuttgart Art Academy with Jakob Grünenwald and Friedrich von Keller . He created especially landscapes, but also some portraits. He made illustrations for the primer for the Catholic primary schools in Württemberg . Works by Schnitzer can be found in the municipal art collection in Murrhardt , his wife's hometown.
