Theodor Wiedemann

Theodor Wiedemann (born August 20, 1823 in Mittelstetten , Kingdom of Bavaria ; † May 9, 1901 ) was a German historian, Roman Catholic theologian and editor.

Professional background

Wiedemann became editor of the Catholic literary newspaper in 1860 and worked for the Austrian quarterly journal for Catholic theology from 1862 to 1874, before he became editor-in-chief of the official Linzer Zeitung from 1879 to 1881. From 1881 he worked as editor-in-chief for the official Salzburger Zeitung.
