The MPM St. Louis Open 2006 took place September 20-26, 2006 in St. Louis , Missouri , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2006/07 and was endowed with 50,000 US dollars. It belonged to the category 5 star .

The defending champion was Amr Shabana , who did not run again. In the final, the fourth-placed Stewart Boswell prevailed against the second-placed John White with 11: 6, 11: 2 and 12:10.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of whom were qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard got Michael Puertas a spot in the main draw.
