Theophil Gallo

Theophil Gallo (born May 30, 1957 in Bexbach ) is a German politician ( SPD ), lawyer and, since 2015, district administrator of the Saarpfalz district .

Life

Theophil Gallo was born as the youngest of six children in a miner's family. After graduating from high school at Saarpfalz-Gymnasium in Homburg and doing military service in the German armed forces, he trained as a city assistant candidate for the city of Bexbach. He then studied law in Saarbrücken . From 1989 to 2015 he worked in sales and as a lecturer at the legal publishing house Juris . He has been admitted to the bar since 2002.

Since 1997 he has been a lecturer at the University of Kaiserslautern in the areas of labor law and patent law . Since 2000 he has been a member of the city council of Bexbach and since 2004 of the district council of the Saarpfalz district. After the successful election on May 25, 2014 as District Administrator of the Saar-Palatinate District, Gallo succeeded Clemens Lindemann on June 26, 2015 with a ten-year term of office .

Theophil Gallo is married and has two grown children.
