Theophil Ruderstaller (* 28. September 1906 in Ostermiething , Upper Austria , † 10. June 1946 in Fuxin ) was a Capuchin and China - missionary .

Bishop Joseph Wei from Qiqihar , since 2002 Apostolic Administrator of the former Capuchin mission Kiamusze ( Jiamusi ), in 2005 Gaudentius Walser from the North Tyrolean Capuchin Province informed that at Fountain excavations in the garden of a private house two coffins with the bodies of Theophil Ruderstaller (Ostermiething) and Antonin Schröcksnadel ( Innsbruck) were found. They were taken from the church on June 10, 1946 and shot in the parsonage.

Theophil Ruderstaller is in a process of beatification .

The bones were exhumed in November 2009 and transferred to Innsbruck in January 2010, where they are to be buried in the Capuchin Church.
