Theresia Höynck

Theresia Höynck (born November 27, 1967 in Bonn ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

After finishing school, Theresia Höynck studied law at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Passau from 1987 to 1992 . This was followed by studies at the European Academy for Legal Theory in Brussels and Liverpool . In 1996 Theresia Höynck became managing director of the German Association for Juvenile Courts and Youth Court Assistance eV In the same year she passed her second state examination in law.

In 2001 she became a research assistant at the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony . Four years later she received her doctorate in law from the Humboldt University in Berlin . In June 2007 she became Deputy Scientific Director of the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony. Theresia Höynck is currently a professor at the University of Kassel , where one of her focuses is child and juvenile delinquency . She is also the chair of the German Association for Juvenile Courts and Juvenile Courts (DVJJ).

Theresia Höynck is married and has two children.
