The Thierbachfirnfeld is a firn field between 2000 and 2200 m high in the East Antarctic Viktorialand . It is located southwest of the Caudal Hills , north of the Brien Rocks and southwest of the Sequence Hills on the eastern edge of the Rennick Firnfeld .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX IV (1984–1985) named it.
