Thijs van Tent Beking (born December 9, 1984 in Silvolde ) is a Dutch football player .
Career
van Tent Beking started his career at VV Terborg and moved to VBV De Graafschap Doetinchem in 2005 . Here the striker made five appearances in the Eredivisie and after the end of the 2006/07 season, he and his teammate Joey Massop moved to the German league club 1. FC Bocholt .
After a year, van Tent Beking moved from 1. FC Bocholt back to his Dutch homeland to VV DOVO. After three seasons for VV DOVO Veenendaal, he announced his move to GVVV on April 11, 2011 . In December 2011, van Tent Beking helped his club reach the quarter-finals of the KNVB Cup when he scored the decisive penalty in a penalty shoot-out against Sparta Rotterdam .
He is now a coach at his hometown club VV Terborg.
