The Thomas Nunatak is a Nunatak in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Ellsworth Mountains it rises 3 km northwest of the Hall Nunatak and 27 km west of the Camp Hills .
A team of geologists from the University of Minnesota , which explored the Ellsworth Mountains between 1963 and 1964, named the Nunatak. It is named after Hollie Thomas, head of a helicopter crew of the 62nd Transportation Corps Detachment of the United States Army to provide logistical support to the geology team.
