Thomas Böhm (theologian)

Thomas Böhm (born August 13, 1964 in Eichstätt ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Böhm studied Roman Catholic theology , history and philosophy at the University of Oxford , at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . Since 2004, Böhm has been Professor of Catholic Theology at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg in the Department of Church History . He is a signatory of the memorandum “ Church 2011: A Necessary Awakening ”.
