Thomas Barczikowski (born September 26, 1963 in Bad Nauheim ) is a former German ice hockey player . He was a striker in the ice hockey Bundesliga, among others .

career

Barczikowski began his professional career in 1980 at VfL Bad Nauheim in the ice hockey Bundesliga. After its bankruptcy in 1982, he moved to the Mannheim ERC for the 1981/82 season , where his father Leo Barczikowski had played from 1960 to 1963, and was German ice hockey runners-up with this team in 1983 and 1985 . Although he was able to achieve 24 scorer points in his final year in Mannheim and he had his most successful time in Mannheim, he had not succeeded in asserting himself in the top German league in the long term. In 1985 he moved back to Bad Nauheim to join the EC Bad Nauheim, which was founded in 1981 and has since been promoted to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga . In the current season he moved to EC Bad Tölz , where he only played nine games. Until 1989 he played in the 2nd division at Duisburger SC and again at EC Bad Nauheim. Although he had excellent statistical values, he only managed to return to the ice hockey Bundesliga again during the current game round in the 1989/90 season, this time to the EHC Freiburg . Ultimately, however, his breakthrough in Freiburg did not succeed and he did not receive a new contract for the new season. After a one-year stint at Krefelder EV , he ended his career in Bad Nauheim in 1998.
