Thomas Bristow

Thomas Richard Martin Bristow (born November 15, 1913 in Dudley , † July 31, 2007 in Estepona , Spain ) was a British rower .

Bristow rowed for the London Rowing Club . As a student at the University of Cambridge , he also took part in the Boat Race and won in 1935.

For the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Bristow moved into the four without a helmsman along with Alan Barrett , Peter Jackson and John Sturrock . The British won the silver medal almost five seconds behind the German boat.
