Thomas Broscheit (born September 30, 1957 in Hamburg ) is a former German volleyball player .

Career volleyball

Thomas Broscheit played in the 1970s in his home country for the Bundesliga club Hamburger SV . With HSV he became German champion in 1976 and 1977 and won the DVV Cup in 1974 and 1977 . During this time he also played in the German national team . After the descent of HSV in 1979 Thomas Broscheit played for the second division club 1. SC Norderstedt , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 1983. In 1996 he founded the 1st VC Norderstedt , where he was active as a trainer, manager and chairman until 2010.

Private

Thomas Broscheit has been an administrative employee of the city of Norderstedt since 1990 . His daughter Annalena also plays volleyball.
