Thomas Eisinger (born May 20, 1960 in Berghausen (Pfinztal) ) is a German evangelical theologian , religious educator and Chancellor of the Liebenzell International University .

Live and act

In 1980, after graduating from high school, Eisinger began studying at the theological seminar of the Liebenzeller Mission and between 1985 and 1989 was community pastor with a focus on youth work in the Liebenzeller community association . He successfully completed his master's degree in social sciences, personality development and management MA in social science in 1992 at Azusa Pacific University , a private university in California, USA. Further qualifications followed in 1999 as a graduate religious educator at the FH Darmstadt, in 1991 as DISG personality trainer, 2001 as DISG personality and management trainer, in 2002 as supervisor (DGSv), coach and teaching coach (DGfC). In 2007 he received a trainer license for high ropes courses. In 2007, under the direction of Volker Gäckle , together with Fritz Röcker, he prepared the working paper The Theological Seminar of the Liebenzeller Mission as a community of faith, living and learning . In 2008 he received his doctorate at John Reimer at the University of South Africa (UniSA) with his dissertation on theological training centers and their contribution to the personal development of its students in view of mission - An exemplary concept development using the example of the Theological Seminary of Liebenzell Mission : "Based on the “Cycle of mission praxis” developed at the University of South Africa as a frame of reference, a personality development model for theological training centers is developed in this work. The closer and wider context of the training center and the students is focused as well as the cornerstones of a Bible-oriented anthropology Then quality characteristics of a spiritual leader personality are defined, which flow into a well-founded and practical concept description. From 1989 to 1998 Eisinger headed the center for child and youth work at the Liebenzeller Mission with a focus on training volunteers and project managers for various major events. From 1992 to 1998 he was visiting lecturer, then lecturer at the theological seminar of the Liebenzeller Mission, since 2003 deputy seminary director there and its acting director between 2005 and 2006. Since 2011 he has been Chancellor of the Liebenzell International University and an academic assistant for experiential education .

Eisinger has been running the TeamParcours Monbachtal adventure education park since 2007 , where he runs coaching courses.

From 2009 to 2014 he was a member of the district council of the Calw district for the CDU , was involved in its youth welfare, cultural and social committee and was a deputy in the administrative committee, in the environmental committee and deputy in the supervisory board of the AWG waste management district of Calw.

Private

Thomas Eisinger is married to Dorothe. The couple has three children and lives in Bad Liebenzell .
