Thomas Faust

Thomas Faust (* 1963 in Unna ) is a German economist and administrative scientist . He is the author of various non-fiction books and a scientific member of the Kues Academy for European Intellectual History .

Life

Thomas Faust obtained the general higher education entrance qualification at the Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium in Hagen in 1982 . He then studied law , business administration and social economics in Bochum, Heidelberg and Hamburg. Faust graduated in 1997 with a degree in social economics. In 2003 he received his doctorate for a thesis on organizational ethics. rer. pole.

Thomas Faust was appointed Scientific Member of the Kues Academy for European Intellectual History in Bernkastel-Kues in 2012 .

From 2010 to 2014 he participated in the teaching project “ethos”, which was awarded the Max Weber Prize for Business Ethics.

His research activities include in particular information on the topics of management ethics , compliance , public management and integrity controlling.
