Feuerstein's works and projects are realized in different media. They encompass installations , environments , BioArt , objects, drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, videos, radio plays and net art and incorporate processes and transmutations, whereby specific materialities play a central role. Materials are used both as carriers of meanings and narrations and in the form of materials and ultimately become actors in art.
In the border area between nature, art and science, Feuerstein's works set in motion pataphysical cycles of the production of meaning and possibility that dissolve the distinctions between nature and culture, past and future. Essential aspects are the interplay of linguistic and visual elements, the detection of latent links between facts and fictions and the entanglement between art and science. For this purpose, Feuerstein developed the artistic method of "conceptual narration".
