Thomas Georgi (politician)

Thomas Georgi (born December 20, 1962 in Luckenwalde ) is a German doctor and politician ( CDU ).

Georgi graduated from high school in 1981 and studied medicine at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1984 . In 1990 he became an assistant physician at the hospital Prenzlauer Berg and then doctor for general medicine . In 1993 he established himself as a general practitioner in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg .

In the course of the political change in the GDR , Georgi joined the CDU and was elected to the district council assembly in the Prenzlauer Berg district in the Berlin election in 1990 . In the next election in 1995 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1999.
