Thomas Klein (born August 1, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian entrepreneur and author.

Life

Klein was born the son of the Viennese soda water and lemonade manufacturer Erwin Klein (1924–1983), who from 1957 produced the herbal lemonade Almdudler in his company . From 1977 to 1982 he attended the MODUL - Higher Education Institute for Tourism in Vienna. His mother prevented him from becoming an actor. After the sudden death of his father in 1983, he took over his company. In 1986 the advertising slogan was created when the kan Almdudler have, I'll go again . In a radio interview on Ö3 in June 2003 , he told of the depression that overcame him after the sudden death of his father. In 2004, Klein retired from management and has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board ever since. In 2004, he transferred the management of Almdudler-Limonade A. & S. Klein GmbH & Co KG to Gerhard Schilling, daughter Lara Klein is to take over the family business after completing her business studies. In 2012 he was nominated Austrian of the year in the business management category and in the same year he was awarded the BRAND LIFE AWARD from the European Brand Institute for his life's work.

Private

Small is gay. However, he didn't realize this until he was 23 years old, having already started a family. He is the father of two daughters and a son.
