Thomas Lieschke

Thomas Lieschke (born March 2,  1974 ) is a former German basketball player . During his career, the 2.11-meter-long indoor player was under contract with Bundesliga club Ludwigsburg and several clubs in the 2nd basketball division .

career

Lieschke played for TuS Jena until 1999 and then moved to Rhöndorf within the 2nd Bundesliga . In 2001 he won the championship in the 2nd Bundesliga North with the team, but they waived promotion to the Bundesliga. For the Rhinelander he ran until 2002, in the 2002/03 game year Lieschke belonged to the squad of the first division side EnBW Ludwigsburg , for which he played 18 Bundesliga games and scored an average of 2.6 points and 1.7 rebounds.

At the beginning of the 2003/04 season he played briefly for Baskets Feldkirch in the Austrian Bundesliga , followed by a brief guest appearance at the Finnish first division club Porvoon Tarmo. In February 2004 he moved to TSV Nördlingen in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the early stages of the 2004/05 season Lieschke was part of the Wolfenbüttel Dukes squad (2nd Bundesliga), in the first games of the 2005/06 season he was also in the second division for MTV Stuttgart before joining BSG Ludwigsburg the regional league changed. In the coming years Lieschke played in Fellbach and Remseck in the 2nd regional league.
