Thomas Martinot-Lagarde (born February 7, 1988 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés ) is a French athlete who specializes in hurdles . His younger brother Pascal is also a successful hurdler.

Athletic career

Martinot-Lagarde finished second in the 2010 French championships in the 110-meter hurdles . In the following two years, however, he was unable to build on his previous achievements. It wasn't until 2013 that he found his way back to his old strength. In June he won the silver medal in the 110 meter hurdles at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin . At the beginning of July he increased his personal best at the Areva meeting in Paris to 13.26 seconds. A week later he won the French championships. At the World Championships in Moscow , he reached the finals, where he finished seventh.
