Thomas Motzke

Thomas Motzke (born May 12, 1968 in Schwabmünchen ) is a former German soccer player ( midfielder ).

Thomas Motzke began playing at TSV Klosterlechfeld as a schoolboy and teenager. In the 1988/1989 season he played for FC Augsburg . Motzke then played 66 times in the 2nd Bundesliga for Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin in 1989 and 1991. For TSV 1860 Munich he was used 21 times in the 2nd Bundesliga South in the 1991/1992 season. He then returned to FC Augsburg, where he was part of the squad until June 1996. He moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth , where he stayed until the end of 1997. From July 1998 to June 2000 he was part of the squad of the then Bundesliga club SSV Ulm 1846 . He then ended his sports career as a player because of knee problems. In 2000 he still coached the TSV Schwabmünchen team and led them to promotion to the Landesliga Süd .

After his football career, he became a private customer advisor in a bank and has three children.
