The TSV Schwabmünchen is a sports club based in the Swabian town of Schwabmünchen .
history
The club was founded in 1863 as a gymnastics club. Today he has additional departments for archery , badminton , soccer , handball , inline skater hockey , judo , athletics , rehab sports, swimming , skiing , stick shooting , taekwondo / all-combat jitsu , tennis , table tennis , volleyball and triathlon .
Inline skater hockey
The inline skater hockey department was founded in 2002. From 2007 to 2011 she played in the 1st Bundesliga .
Soccer
Football has been played in the club since the late 1920s. In 1968, 2000 and 2003 he was promoted to the national league . After the last promotion in 2008, the team was able to establish itself in the regional league and rose in the 2011/12 season thanks to the extended promotion rights as part of the division reform of the Bavarian Football Association in the Bavarian League .

The swimming department was founded in 1970. Swimming training takes place in the Schwabmünchen outdoor pool in summer. Since the city of Schwabmünchen does not have its own indoor swimming pool, training takes place in the Untermeitingen indoor swimming pool and the Bundeswehr swimming pool in Lagerlechfeld during the winter season .

- Final of the German Youth Swimming Team Competition (DMS-J)
From September 1, 2006 to December 31, 2014, the competition team competed with 1. SV Nördlingen eV as a starting community "SG Schwabmünchen-Nördlingen 06" on swimming competitions throughout Germany, and made it into the German Swimming Team Championships (DMS) 2nd Bundesliga South.
