history
In 1920 some young men got together who were enthusiastic about football. The club, which has around 700 members, now has three men's teams, 25 youth teams and three senior teams. The teams can train on a total of five courts, four of which are equipped with floodlights. The artificial turf pitch was completed in 2010.
Futsal
The futsal team came into being when it won the Bavarian Indoor Championships for the first time in 2015. In the final in Amberg, FCD prevailed against BSK Olympia Neugablonz after a 1-1 draw in regular time, 6-5 in the six-meter shootout. In the following season 2015/16, the FCD registered a team in the third-class Futsal District League Upper Bavaria and secured the championship and promotion to the Futsal Bayern League without losing points in the first season . Also in the Bayernliga season 2016/17 , the team caught up with the championship with full points. As champions, FC Deisenhofen played two relegation games for promotion to the Futsal Regionalliga Süd against SV Dersim Rüsselsheim, which FCD won 27: 7 (16: 4, 11: 3). Deisenhofen also qualified for the South German Futsal Cup 2017, but had to admit defeat 4: 7 in the preliminary round against the eventual winner SV Pars Neu-Isenburg.
