The Futsal Bayernliga is the highest Bavarian and currently the second highest German league in futsal . It was founded in the 2014/15 season and started with five teams in its first season. The Bavarian Football Association is the host of the Futsal Bayern League . The master takes part in the promotion relegation to the Futsal Regionalliga Süd .

Founding members of the Futsal Bayern League in the 2014/15 season were BaKi Futsal Nürnberg , TV Wackersdorf , SpVgg Bayreuth , Futsal Club Regensburg and TSV Neuried .

Game mode

The Futsal Bayern League plays with up to ten teams in a group. If there are more than ten teams, two play groups can be played. The games will be played from September to March. As a rule, a round trip is played. If the game is played in two groups, the two first and second placed players in each group play a “Final Four tournament”. The champions of the Bayernliga are entitled to participate in the relegation to the Regionalliga-Süd.
