history

Futsal

The district league footballers celebrated remarkable successes in the hall. In 2010 and 2011 the team was first Bavarian champion and then South German runner-up behind FC Portus Pforzheim and VfR Ittersbach . Both times the Nuremberg team qualified for the DFB Futsal Cup , the German futsal championship. In 2010 BaKi failed in the quarter-finals with the later title holder SD Croatia Berlin . A year later , the Nürnberger were more successful and moved into the final after victories over FSV Bretzenheim and VfR Ittersbach. There BaKi lost 3-0 against SD Croatia Berlin at the Nürburgring.

In 2013, an independent futsal department was added, which goes to Torejegd under Futsal Nürnberg. After promotions from the Middle Franconia Futsal League (2013) and the Futsal Bayern League (2014), the Nuremberg-based company has been one of the founding members of the Regionalliga Süd since 2015 . In the first game year, relegation could be secured on the last game day. In the second season, Futsal Nuremberg stabilized significantly, was never in serious danger of relegation and ended the season in 5th place in the table. In the 2017/18 season, the team took a strong third place, directly behind the German futsal champion 2017 Jahn Regensburg Futsal.
