The TSV Karlburg (officially: Turn- und Sportverein Karlburg eV ) is a sports club from the Karlburg district of the Lower Franconian city of Karlstadt . It was founded in 1895 as a gymnastics club. The men's team in the soccer department has been playing in the fifth-class Bayernliga since the 2019/20 season .
history
The club rose to the Bavarian regional league in 2006 and was back off after one season. The next promotion to the regional league came in 2012. Seven years later they became champions in 2019 and rose to the Bayern league.
