The SV Kirchanschöring (full name: Sportverein Kirchanschöring eV 1946 ) is a sports club from Kirchanschöring in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein . The first soccer team made it into the fifth-class Bayernliga in 2015 .

history

The association was founded in September 1946. In the first few decades, the team only played at the district level, before being promoted to the district league for the first time in 1975. There, the Kirchanschöringer managed to march through to the then fourth-class national league straight away . After a 1: 2 play-off defeat against FC Kempten , the team had to relegate again after just one year. In the following decades the club played mostly in the district league and reached the Oberbayern district league in the 2002/03 season . After rising again in 2004, the SVR was able to establish itself in the regional league.

In 2011 the Kirchanschöringer secured the runner-up championship with a 2-0 win in the decider against VfR Garching and made it into the Bayern-Süd regional league . After a league reform, the club belonged to the Landesliga Südost from 2012. A year later, ex-professional Patrick Mölzl took over the coaching position and led the team to the premature championship and promotion to the fifth-class Bayernliga in 2015.
