Patrick Erhan Mölzl (born December 28, 1980 in Munich ) is a German soccer player and today's coach .
Birth and childhood
Patrick Mölzl was born in 1980 in Munich as the son of the Turkish footballer Erhan Önal and a German mother, from whom the last name Mölzl comes. In 1982 he moved to Istanbul with his family . After a few years he returned to Munich with his mother, as Istanbul was too insecure in his mother's eyes; the father stayed in Istanbul.
Career

After Mölzl had gone through the youth clubs SC Bogenhausen , SV Gartenstadt Trudering , TSV 1860 Munich and FC Bayern Munich, he moved up to the amateurs of FC Bayern Munich at the age of 18 , for which he played 99 games (8 goals) in the regional league in four seasons South graduated. As a contract amateur, he was part of the Bavarian professional squad in the 2000/01 season without even being used once.
In the 2002/03 season he played seven times for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2nd Bundesliga before playing in the Regionalliga again for three years. First one season at FC St. Pauli , then two seasons at FC Augsburg , with whom he was promoted to the 2006/07 season and for which he played a total of 70 second division games until December 31, 2009 and scored three goals. After the contract, which was dissolved by mutual agreement during the winter break, Mölzl switched to third division club FC Ingolstadt 04 , for whom he entered into a contract dated June 30, 2012. He played his first game on February 6, 2010 (23rd matchday) in a 0-0 draw at home against VfL Osnabrück . With the club relegated to the third division at the end of the 2008/09 season , Mölzl managed to return to the second division immediately with third place in the table and two relegation games against Hansa Rostock .
For the 2012/13 season he first moved to Türkspor Augsburg in the district league Schwaben Süd, from the second half of the season he belonged to the district league club FSV Pfaffenhofen / Ilm . In his first game against FC Hepberg (4: 1) he scored two goals from a penalty and prepared another goal. In the end, however, the FSV failed in the relegation to the district league at VfB Eichstätt II (1: 2).
For the 2013/14 season he joined SV Kirchanschöring in the Bayern Southeast regional league , for whom he made his debut as a player- coach on July 19, 2013 (1st matchday) in the 3-0 defeat in the home game against FC Ergolding September 2013 (10th matchday) scored his first goal in the 2-1 win in the away game against SV Erlbach with the goal of the interim 1-0 in the 5th minute. On April 3, 2017 he took over the coaching position of the regional league club SV Wacker Burghausen . He was dismissed from this office on April 14, 2018. At the end of February 2019 Mölzl became assistant coach at the second division Dynamo Dresden under Cristian Fiél . Mölzl and Fiél have already completed their soccer teacher training together.
National team
He was used four times for the U-18 national team . He made his debut on November 25, 1997 in Gera in a 1-1 draw against France, against whom he also played a goalless draw two days later in Rudolstadt. In 1999 he played twice against the Ukraine team: on March 10th in Kitzingen with a 2-4 defeat and two days later in Würzburg with a 3-1 victory.
