The TSV 1882 Landsberg am Lech e. V. is a sports club from the Upper Bavarian Landsberg am Lech ( Landsberg am Lech district ) with departments for football , baseball , volleyball , stick shooting , handball , cardiac / diabetes sports , inline hockey , martial arts , chess , table tennis , gymnastics and hiking . The club, founded in 1882, currently has 2,000 members, making it the largest sports club in Lechstadt.
Football department
The greatest success of the football department of TSV Landsberg was the promotion to the then fourth-class Bayernliga in the 1996/97 season. After a year, already had as Table again the aisle in the division compete. In the 2006/07 season, the team showed a constant season performance, especially in the second half of the season and was able to secure promotion to the regional league on the penultimate game day with a win against TSV Sulzberg . Only two years later, after a 3-0 success in the relegation game against TSV Eching , the team rose back to the national league after 15 years. The player- coach has been Sven Kresin since August 21, 2010 , who succeeded Jürgen Lugmair. The former professional already played for Wacker Burghausen and Rot-Weiß Erfurt . At the end of the 2013/14 season they celebrated the championship of the Landesliga Südwest and rose to the Bayernliga Süd. The coach of the 2017/18 season is Uwe Zenkner, who replaced Roland Krötz in March 2017. After a short term in office, Uwe Zenkner also had to resign at the beginning of October 2017, he was dismissed by the department head. On October 17, 2017, Guido Kandziora was introduced as the new coach of the Bayernliga team of TSV 1882 Landsberg in the 3C Sportpark and the club unfortunately had to relegate at the end of the season. On July 1, 2018, Muriz Salemovic took over the team in the Landesliga Südwest and led them back to the Bayernliga-Süd. On July 1, 2019, Hermann Rietzler was installed as the new head coach at TSV Landsberg with the aim of staying up. Rietzler was previously assistant coach of the 1st team for 2 years and has the coach A license.

Further sports offers
In addition to traditional sports such as soccer, handball, gymnastics, stick shooting, chess, hiking, table tennis and volleyball, the club also offers inline hockey, baseball, aikido and karate. There is also the department for cardiac and diabetes sports, in which targeted rehabilitation sports can be completed under medical supervision. Popular sports in the gymnastics area from step aerobics to mother-child gymnastics and spinal and ski gymnastics, but also baseball from the TSV Crusaders and inline hockey from the TSV Vipers are offered. In addition, a women's football team was founded. In the handball area, all junior age groups are occupied and in the baseball area, the foundation of a junior division is imminent.
