Thomas Pradel

Thomas Pradel (born October 7, 1964 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German artist.

Pradel works as a book designer for numerous well-known German book publishers (Book Guild Gutenberg , Frankfurter Verlagsanstalt, etc.). Between 1998 and 2010 he received numerous awards for his book designs, multiple awards and honorable recognitions from the Book Art Foundation . Awards for linen covers as well as a silver medal from the Stuttgart Calendar Show and the award from the Art Directors Club of New York .

Between 1984 and 1995 music productions under the pseudonym L'Edarps A Moth in the " independent music scene", a then popular network of musicians with music exchange via self-published sound carriers . His style is a mixture of experimental electronic music and pop songs with ironic German lyrics.

Until 2012, Pradel also ran an artist management team in Frankfurt am Main with a focus on cabaret and oldie music.

Pradel lived in Frankfurt am Main from 1985 to 2009 , today in Bad Homburg / Taunus.

Pradel was the initiator of the German groups of Freecycle and moderator of the Frankfurt section.
