Thomas Römer (Author)

Thomas Römer (* 1965 ) is a German author and editor in the field of fantasy .

Römer first studied astronomy and physics at the University of Bochum . From 1988 he worked as an author for the pen & paper role-playing game Das Schwarze Auge (DSA) and participated in numerous publications in this series. Between 1992 and 1997 he was also the editor-in-chief for the German edition of the role-playing game Shadowrun , and from 1997 to 2011 editor-in-chief for Das Schwarze Auge at the publishers Fantasy Productions and Ulisses Spiele . He was responsible for editing the rules for the 4th edition of Das Schwarze Auge ( DSA 4 ), which no longer appeared in box form but as hardcover volumes ( Ways of the Sword, Ways of Heroes, Ways of Magic, Ways of the Gods as well as the basic set of rules Das Schwarze Auge ).

Since 2013 Römer has been working as an editor for the fantasy role-playing game Splittermond from Uhrwerk Verlag with responsibility for the game world "Lorakis".
