Thomas Rauber

Thomas Rauber (born March 4, 1966 ; legal resident in Jaun ) is a Swiss entrepreneur and politician ( CVP ). He is a member of the Board of Directors of Bank Raiffeisen Switzerland . Rauber has been the Grand Councilor of the Canton of Friborg since 2011 . From 2016 to 2018 he was a councilor for the municipality of Tafers .

biography

After graduating from the College of St. Michael , Rauber studied business administration at the University of Freiburg i. Ue . Rauber is an SME entrepreneur. He is the owner of TR Invest AG and TR Management GmbH, as well as co-owner of ROBOR AG and holds various SME board mandates. He is also President of the Sense trade association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Raiffeisenbank Freiburg Ost.

Rauber is married and has two children.

politics

In 2011 Rauber was elected to the Grand Council for the first time . In 2016 he was re-elected with the second best result of all candidates in the Sense district . As a member of the CVP parliamentary group , he was a member of the business audit and finance committee from 2011 to 2018. In 2016, Thomas was also elected to the Tafers Town Council, where he was Chief Financial Officer. In 2018 he resigned from this position for professional reasons.
