Thomas Raymond Dunne
Sir Thomas Raymond Dunne KG , KCVO (born October 24, 1933 ) has been the Acting Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire since April 1, 1996 . He is the son of soldier and politician Philip Russell Rendel Dunne and the father of Conservative Party MP Philip Martin Dunne .
In 1977 he was first appointed joint Lord Lieutenant of Hereford and Worcester . After Hereford and Worcester were separated again in 1998, he became both Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire and Worcestershire . On July 31, 2001, he resigned from his position in Worcestershire. He is also chairman of the Lord Lieutenants' Association.
In 1995 he was raised to the rank of nobility as Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order and has since had the addition of "Sir". In 2008 he was also accepted as a Knight Companion in the Order of the Garter.
