Thomas Renner (athlete)
Thomas Renner (born December 24, 1967 in Linz ) is a former Austrian athlete.
From 1988 to 1991 he was Austrian national champion with the 4 × 100 relay from Vöcklabruck. He won the individual title over 200 m in 1991. In 1992 he took part in the Olympic Games . With Christoph Pöstinger , Andreas Berger and Franz Ratzenberger he reached seventh place with the 4 × 100 relay. In 1993 Renner was banned for two years for doping with Metandienone .
