Christoph Pöstinger

Christoph Pöstinger (born April 7, 1972 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 he reached the quarter-finals over 200 m and came in seventh place with the Austrian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In both disciplines, he was eliminated from the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the 1997 World Athletics Championships in Athens.

In 1992 he was Austrian champion over 100 m , in 1992 and 1997 over 200 m. In the hall he was three times national champion over 200 m (1993, 1996, 1999) and once each over 60 m (1993) and 400 m (1999).
