Thomas Rosenboom
Thomas Rosenboom (born January 8, 1956 in Doetinchem , Netherlands ) is a Dutch writer .
Life
Rosenboom attended high school in Arnhem and studied psychology in Nijmegen for three years . He then went to Amsterdam to there Niederlandistik study. He has been a freelance writer since graduating in 1983 .
He made his debut as an author with the short story Bedenkingen , published in 1982 in De Revisor magazine. In 1983 he published his first own volume with three stories, in 1985 his first novel Vriend van verdienste . His breakthrough came in 1994 with the novel Gewassen vlees , which was awarded the Libris Literature Prize.
