Thomas Stadler (born January 9, 1986 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

The defender began his football career at the age of seven in the youth teams of SV Bad Goisern . At the age of 15 he switched to the youth department of SV Ried . In the summer of 2006, Stadler received his first professional contract in the first division with Kapfenberger SV . After only half a year he moved to FC Waidhofen / Ybbs in the Regionalliga Ost in January 2007 . In the summer of 2007 Stadler was signed by the newly promoted SV Bad Aussee . After Ausseer's relegation from the First League, he was signed by DSV Leoben in summer 2008, where he immediately established himself as a regular under coach Heimo Kump .

In the summer of 2009 after the relegation of Leoben, Stadler moved to the second division promoted FC Dornbirn in Vorarlberg . He is now playing for SV Kieninger-Bau Bad Goisern .
