Thomas Christian Weller (born  November 4, 1980 in Zurich ) is a German soccer player who plays for FC United Zurich .

Career

Thomas Weller was born in Switzerland as the son of former Bundesliga professional Hans-Joachim Weller and began playing football there in his youth until he moved to the second team at Grasshopper Club Zurich in 1995 . The midfielder finally moved to Germany to SC Paderborn 07 and the amateurs of TSV 1860 Munich via the second team of FC Zurich . Then he was back in Switzerland for FC Winterthur , FC Vaduz and FC Schaffhausen on the ball. In January 2007, Weller went back to Germany, this time to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the Regionalliga Süd , but he left for the summer break back to Switzerland, to FC St. Gallen . In the following years the midfielder was again active for FC Schaffhausen and his youth club FC Wohlen . In the summer of 2013, Weller signed with SC Pfullendorf . He then moved back to Switzerland to SC Brühl St. Gallen and then to FC United Zurich .
