Thomas Woschitz (* 1968 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian film director , screenwriter and film editor .

Woschitz studied under Lina Wertmüller at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. In 2009 he was awarded the Max Ophüls Prize for his music film Universalove .

For his feature film Bad Luck from 2015, the film critics attested him a conspicuously black humor .

He lives and works as a freelance editor and director in Vienna and Rome.
