Thomas Zellhuber (born June 6, 1976 in Oberstdorf ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper and current coach . He has been head coach of his hometown club EV Füssen since 2015 .

Player career

From 1993/94 to 1994/95 Thomas Zellhuber played in the juniors of EV Füssen, where he was in the upper league squad of EV Füssen in 1993/94, before he first played for EV Füssen in the 1st League South and from 1995/96 1996/97 to 1998/99 played in the 2nd League South. For the 1999/00 season he moved to EA Kempten . In 2000/01 and 2001/02 he played for ESV Kaufbeuren before moving to EHC Wolfsburg for 2002/03 and 2003/04 . In 2004/05 he played for the Blue Lions Leipzig and in 2005/06 and 2006/07 for the ETC Crimmitschau . In 2007/08 he played for the EVR Tower Stars before playing again for the EV Füssen in 2008/09. From 2009/10 until the end of his playing career in 2014, he played at ERC Sonthofen .

Coaching career

Since the foundation of EV Füssen in 2015, he has celebrated two promotions with the team.
