Ines Appelmann (born December 8, 1987 ) is a German soccer referee . She whistles for the RWO Alzey club .

Career

Appelmann was promoted to the 2nd women's division as a referee in 2009 . Two years later she made the leap into the women's Bundesliga and the men's Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar . In 2014 Appelmann was appointed assistant referee at the 2014 DFB Cup final between SGS Essen and 1. FFC Frankfurt . Three years later , the DFB nominated Appelmann as referee for the cup final between SC Sand and VfL Wolfsburg .

Ines Appelmann has been a FIFA line judge since 2016 . Her main job is as a teacher of geography and sports at the Nieder-Olm high school .
