Nicole Schumacher

Nicole Schumacher (born March 26, 1979 in Oberhausen ) is a former German soccer referee .

Schumacher was a successful athlete in her youth . With moderate success she played at Glückauf Sterkrade in the regional league football . In 1998 she completed a referee course with her brother Karl-Markus and began to whistle in junior leagues.

In 2001 she became a DFB referee and has since headed games in the women's Bundesliga . On May 20, 2004 she was in charge of the DFB Cup final between the 1st FFC Turbine Potsdam and the 1st FFC Frankfurt . In 2007 she was promoted to FIFA Referee. In addition, she was used in the 2007/08 season in the men's regional league as a referee and in the 2nd men's division as an assistant referee .

In 2008 Nicole Schumacher ended her referee career for personal reasons. Her last assignment was on June 2, 2008 in the Westphalian Football League at the game Preußen Münster against Rot Weiss Ahlen II.

Schumacher is a full-time police officer .
